Livestock Wealth lets people invest in livestock and farming as an alternative asset class. As with any unfamiliar investment model, the first obstacle is not the transaction — it is understanding what is being bought, how it grows and what happens at the end of the term.
The product had to teach and reassure while still behaving like a financial platform, since the same interface serves both a first-time investor and someone managing an existing portfolio.
The UX approach
Onboarding introduces the model in the order a newcomer needs it: what the asset is, how a return is produced, what the term and risks are, and only then how to invest. Concepts are disclosed progressively rather than delivered as a single explanation the user must hold in mind.
Discovery and ownership are treated as distinct modes. Browsing an opportunity is explanatory — cost, term, expected return and the mechanics behind them, presented in a fixed structure so options can be compared directly. Holding an investment is reportorial: position, growth and what stage the asset is currently at.
Transparency is the trust mechanism. Status is communicated in the terms of the asset itself rather than as abstract financial states, so an investor can tell where their money physically is at any point in the cycle.
The UI approach
The interface pairs a precise, restrained typographic treatment of figures — tabular, consistently placed, unembellished — with photography of the actual assets, which keeps the product credible without making it abstract.
Portfolio data is visualised simply and comparatively, prioritising current position and change over chart variety. Components are shared between discovery and portfolio views so the two modes remain recognisably one product, and colour is reserved for state and asset category.
